袖珍石窟石馬寺 Pocket grottoes stone horse temple?

石馬寺是一座石刻造像與寺廟建筑相結合的佛教寺院，寺內所有石刻造像雕鑿在三塊砂巖巨石的七個(gè)崖面上，雖沒(méi)有都城石窟的雄宏壯觀(guān)，但卻不失石雕藝術(shù)的高雅品位，壁上千佛，蔚為壯觀(guān)，古人的虔誠之心由此可鑒。這座寺雖然偏居一隅，論起年代卻是地道的老資格，它的“文化資歷”已越過(guò)所有的唐代寺院。現駐寺中的覺(jué)性師傅介紹，寺中石碑記載北魏永熙三年（534年），這里已經(jīng)動(dòng)工開(kāi)鑿佛像。如今，3個(gè)石窟，100多佛龕，1300多尊石佛靜靜地凝神眺望著(zhù)對岸的青山，相看兩不厭已然近1500年。這樣壯觀(guān)的寺院筑在山坡上，顯露無(wú)隱，格外顯眼，多少有些不同于印象中古寺的深藏不露，再加上北方雨水少，石多無(wú)大樹(shù)，石佛在別的地方婆娑煙雨，這地方卻要沐浴陽(yáng)光，也許這就是緣分，這就是風(fēng)格。

尤為珍貴的是石馬寺內北魏時(shí)期的造像占到了百分之七十，主要有三個(gè)石窟、兩個(gè)五米大龕、三個(gè)方形小龕、西崖龕造像和摩崖浮雕禮佛圖，特別是南崖五米大龕造像，主尊面相威嚴，身軀端立；衣裾層疊翻覆，飄逸飛揚，給人一種重心向下的“力”感；左右脅侍菩薩，長(cháng)頸秀目，面帶笑意，溫情灑脫，余味雋永；整鋪造像給人以寧靜、高超、飄逸、睿智和對世界一切的超脫之感，是石馬寺北魏造像的精品。西崖浮雕禮佛圖，造像形態(tài)均為靜態(tài)，但由于整體構圖的行列氣氛和方向的引導，給人以靜中見(jiàn)動(dòng)，動(dòng)中有靜之感。更讓人驚奇的是大雄寶殿內的龍洞，這處秘室是寺內最大的一個(gè)石窟，是最近收拾寺院才發(fā)現的奇觀(guān)，據說(shuō)是為避史書(shū)中說(shuō)的滅佛，藏身藏經(jīng)修的。龍洞拱門(mén)上方精美的交腳彌勒坐佛和具有強烈時(shí)代特征的供養人像，衣著(zhù)的華麗依稀可見(jiàn)，洞內側壁上的坐佛，雖然侵蝕嚴重，但仍能感受到其安詳的面容和超脫的心境。

隋唐及以后造像主要分布于第一塊巨石的北崖、南崖、東崖，第二塊巨石的北崖。佛像造型特點(diǎn)重在神似，姿態(tài)舒展自如，表情溫和親切，似乎不再是超然自得，高不可攀的神靈。其中有一尊自在觀(guān)音造像，身體微斜，一手支地，安態(tài)自如，而不失嫻雅風(fēng)度，雕鑿工藝十分精湛，漂亮優(yōu)雅極了!

交通：昔陽(yáng)縣城有發(fā)往石馬村的鄉村公交可到達，自駕可經(jīng)太原或石家莊，由石太高速至平定出高速公路，向昔陽(yáng)方向行駛35公里即到。廟會(huì )期間由昔陽(yáng)縣體育館不間斷發(fā)車(chē)至石馬寺，免費乘坐。

住宿：昔陽(yáng)縣城有各種檔次賓館，大寨旅游區有農家樂(lè )可入住。
