太古洋行——Butterfield and Swire Co.,Ltd
太古洋行
太古洋行是一家老牌英資企業(yè)，由約翰太古創(chuàng )辦于英國利物浦，太古寓意規模宏大歷史悠久。這個(gè)名字至今在亞洲廣為人知，是近代對中國造成深遠影響的商貿機構。太古洋行設立之初主要從事紡織品貿易。從美洲進(jìn)口原棉，加工成紡織品出口中國，并從中國進(jìn)口茶葉和絲綢。之后太古洋行的繼承者發(fā)現了油輪運輸的商機于1872年在上海設立太古輪船公司。從此太古洋行開(kāi)始主營(yíng)輪船事業(yè)。在上海、天津、香港設立總公司。又在南京、汕頭等地設立分公司。1877年在江北老外灘，太古洋行寧波分公司成立，主要業(yè)務(wù)是輪船運輸，還帶有保險公司、糖果等業(yè)務(wù)。寧波幫商人還曾與其進(jìn)行商戰。從地主主義的壟斷下?lián)尵瘸鲆粭l國民航線(xiàn)。抗日戰爭結束后，太古洋行于1954年退出中國市場(chǎng)。如今在老外灘，太古洋行依然佇立，是一幢2層西式洋房，呈方形，樸素大方。是開(kāi)埠后，體現西洋風(fēng)格的中國里弄式建筑。
Butterfield and Swire Co,Ltd
After the foreign residence was founded in Jiangbei shore, UK, France, USA and Japan these countries established swire Co.,Ltd, business firms, quays and factories. In June, 1877, an English businessman---John Swire, founded the branch of Butterfield & Swire Co, Ltd in Ningbo, he also established Tai Koo quay on the Jiangbei shore, the company was located in wai tan, it was the first foreign business enterprise entering into Ningbo Lao Waitan. The company was managed in sugar industry, shipping industry, and insurance business for around 50 years. Today, the western architectural framework is still in hard way. There were 24 swire firms in Jiangbei Lao waitan. During that time, the shipping, trade, financial businesses were all entering.
After the branch of swire located in Ningbo Lao waitan, one clerk named George. Wolen. Swell, he took a lot of pictures about the sceneries and humanities of Ningbo, the two pictures among those was showed in British Library, which were took from 1906 to 1929, you could imagewhat was the Lao Waitan like before one century ago.
太古洋行
江北側のバンドが設立後、英、仏、米、日等の國は次々にここで銀行、商號、船埠、工場(chǎng)を持ちました。1877年6月に英商人ジョンホワイト氏が寧波で太古洋行の支店を設け、太古埠頭を江北岸に設けました。會(huì )社宛先はワイタンにあり、寧波ワイタン初の洋商企業(yè)となりました。砂糖、船舶、保険等の分野で50年余の活躍をしていました。洋行建築の骨組は今でも丈夫です。1884年まで、ワイタンには洋行が24軒にも達しました。それと同時(shí)期に中國の船舶、貿易、金融企業(yè)もワイタンに進(jìn)出しました。
太古洋行は寧波で支店を設けた後、ジョージ?ワリン?スドンという職員さんが寧波滯在中に寧波を反映する風(fēng)景寫(xiě)真や人物寫(xiě)真をとり、その中の二枚が寧波ロウワイタンの景色で、今は英國大英図書(shū)館に保存されています。寫(xiě)真の撮影時(shí)間は1906～1929の間で、百年前のロウワイタンの様子が分かります。
